APPLICATION + REMOVAL
APPLICATION STEPS:
SELECT
Choose the desired NAILIO design that suits your needs and showcases your individuality.
CLEAN AND PREP
Prior to nail glue application, use a nail file to gently file your nail beds enough to create a rough surface for the nail glue to adhere to. Use an alcohol pad to ensure that the nail surface is dry and oil-free.
APPLICATION
Remove the nails from the packaging and apply them one by one to each finger. Start with the thumb first, then repeat the process for each finger. The glue and UV light curing will be the same throughout this process. We recommend completing the steps for each nail before moving onto the next, which will ensure that the nail has been adhered to your natural nail bed.
PRIME
Select the primer from the NAILIO glue set. Brush a light coat of primer to the nail surface, which will make the solid glue stronger.
FIRST ROUND OF UV LIGHT CURING
After applying a coat of primer, cure the nail surface with the UV Light Pen for 20-25 seconds.
APPLY SOLID GLUE
Open the NAILIO solid glue, put the nail piece upside down in the solid glue to take out the glue, the amount of glue can be 1/5 of the nail piece, and gently pinch the solid glue with your fingers.
APPLY NAILIO PRESS-ON NAILS
Attach the press-on nail to the middle of the nail, then press down lightly and push the nail towards the cuticle. After bonding, press and adjust until the four sides completely fit the edge of the nail.
REMOVE EXCESS GLUE
After the press-on nail has been completely pressed and fitted, remove NAILIO'S nail art silicone pen from the packaging and use the pen to clean up any excess glue around the edges that overflowed during the fitting process. Wipe your fingers with an alcohol cotton pad to clean up any residue on the skin from the solid glue.
SECOND ROUND OF UV LIGHT CURING
After the press-on nail has been fitted and cleaned, cure top, bottom, and all sides of the nail with the UV Light Pen for 30-45 seconds to ensure that the nail has been firmly bonded and will not fall off.
WEAR YOUR NAILIO PRESS-ON NAILS
After the press-on nails have been applied to all 10 fingers, you can put to test the comfort and durability of the press-on nails by resuming your daily activities.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR REMOVING PRESS-ON NAILS:
PREP
Before removing nails, prepare a small wooden stick, a double-ended dental floss stick and cleansing oil.
SOAK
Soak your hands in warm water for about 5-10 minutes. The longer the soaking time, the faster the nail removal process.
REMOVE
We recommend first detaching the press-on nail from the thumb, then follow the same steps for each nail. Use a small wooden stick to gently pry the detached edge of the press-on nail from your natural nail bed until the wooden stick can be wedged into the opening.
OIL DROPS
Apply 2 drops of oil into the opening between the press-on nail and your natural nail bed. To expand the opening, move the wooden stick from left to right and use the stick to separate the press-on nail from your natural nail.
REMOVAL
Starting from the top corner, use the prepared dental floss stick to slowly lift the press-on nail from your natural nail by using a back-and-forth filing motion under the nail until it’s been fully lifted from your nail. Add more oil as necessary. Avoid excessive force during the process to protect your natural nails from damage.
AFTER CARE
The whole removal process should take about 20 minutes. Wash your hands after removal and use your hand cream to moisturize hands and fingers to protect and restore the luster to your nails.
NAIL HYGIENE
To keep your nails hygienic, replace press-on nails regularly, and avoid storing them for long periods of time in a humid and airtight state.
